Summer Camp Fun @ FFCA
At First Foundations we see summertime as the perfect
opportunity to get our kids outside, moving and enjoying nature. Our natural playgrounds were built specifically with this in mind. With natural shade protection, fun pathways, natural structures, sand and water play, our playground is the perfect place for your child to spend the summer. Our Healthy Eating Programs provide snack and lunch options for half and full day campers. The FFCA Mini Home & Away Program with Camp Robin Hood is our unique blend of "big kid" day camp with the familiarity of the smaller scale of First Foundations camp.
With this variety of programming available, there is something for everyone at Camp FFCA!
Our First Foundations Camp Program includes:
Daily outdoor water and sand play
Weekly Sports with Adam
Themed dress up days and so much more!
Camp is a great opportunity to introduce your child to the Pre School environment. Our Camp programs run Monday to Friday for two, two week sessions and four, one week sessions, with half day (9am – 11:30am) and full day (9am – 3pm) options available.
2020 Camp Sessions
Session 1: June 29th – July 10th (No camp July 1st)
Session 2: July 13 – July 24th
Session 3: July 27th – July 31st
Session 4: August 4th – August 7th (No Camp August 3rd)
Session 5: August 10 – August 14
Session 6: August 17 – August 21 (11:30am Dismissal for all)
Half Day Dragonfly: 3 or 5 Day (9 - 11:30)
Age: Children Born in 2017 & 2018 (Must be 18 months by the Start of Camp)
Our half-day Dragonfly program is a wonderful way for any child to transition to a Pre-Nursery or Nursery classroom in September. The program is a fun, relaxed and safe introduction to drop off. Have your child spend the summer having a blast at camp while at the same time setting them up to succeed as a confident and happy learner come September. Add our Healthy Eating Program onto your child’s day and enjoy the ease of having your child eating a nutritious family style meal at camp with theirfriends.
Full Day Dragonfly: 5 Day Full Day (9 - 3) or 5 Day Alternating Full Day/Half Day
Age: Children Born in 2017
Our full day Dragonfly program is the perfect program for children going into a Nursery classroom in September. Our Dragonflies spend the summer immersed in all the fun that Camp FFCA has to offer while focusing on building friendships and developing the tools to be independent and confident Nursery students come September.
“Mini Home and Away” @ Camp Robin Hood: 5 Day Full Day
Age: Children Born in 2016
Do you want your child to have a “big kid” day camp experience but worry that they might be too young? This unique program has been designed to introduce children to the outdoor camp environment while staying within the familiarity and security of FFCA programming and staffing.
Twice a week, our “Mini Home and Away” campers will travel to Camp Robin Hood on our own busses, with our own FFCA teachers. Throughout the morning, the campers will participate in many of the wonderful camp activities that Camp Robin Hood has to offer, led by their FFCA teachers in their own self-contained group.
FFCA staff will bring FFCA programming to Camp Robin Hood while immersing our campers in the excitement, facilities and spirit that Camp Robin Hood is known for. The remainder of the week your camper will get to experience the amazing, fun programming that Camp FFCA has to offer while at the same time allowing them to remain in a smaller more familiar camp environment.
Healthy Eating Program 11:30AM – 12:30 PM
The perfect add on for our half day campers
There is no better way to get your child used to eating nutritious food than to have them sit with a group of FFCA friends and eat together in an environment that they are comfortable in, their Camp FFCA classroom! All of our meals and baked goods are homemade, simple and delicious. We provide you with all of our recipes so you can duplicate favourites at home. Our healthy eating program is included for all of our full day campers.
